Leveraging SIRC’s extensive networks, our community outreach services ensure key messages reach the right audience from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

Community outreach involves crafting messaging that resonates with the identified target audience to inspire action and impact. We offer extensive networks that include community, provincial and territorial, and national sport partners as well as leading academic and content experts. We leverage a variety of communication channels to reach our network alongside media partners to maximize the impact of the key messages.

Receive the latest sport and physical activity-related knowledge, news, events, and jobs every day with the Canadian Sport Daily newsletter. Pulling together the latest from across the sport sector enables SIRC to be the leading partner in getting the word out about your announcements, competition results, upcoming events, career opportunities, and more.

Through SIRC’s own social media and digital marketing platforms, we share the latest knowledge and leading practices to help sport leaders make informed decisions. By creating connections throughout the sport and physical activity sector, we leverage a network that is collaborative and evidence-informed.

SIRC works with media partners to reach Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Through a relationship with Bell Media, SIRC led multiple national media campaign to raise awareness about concussion prevention and management as well as promote gender equity with our #MomsGotGame campaign. In collaboration with partners, we create plans that leverage digital communications platforms, media partnerships, and direct outreach to get your message out in the sector. We craft messaging that resonates with the target audience, so that messages are not only heard but understood by those who matter most.
